About This Project

Located on the ground floor of a mixed-use apartment complex in the heart of Sugar House, Hearth and Hill’s Restaurant and Coffee Shop is a modern-industrial aesthetic through its white-brick exterior and open kitchen design. The space transitions seamlessly from the restaurant’s dynamic culinary hub to a cozy coffeehouse area.
The distinctive design elements project transformed 10,985 square feet of former retail space into Hearth and Hill’s latest Sugar House location through an extensive tenant improvement. Premium finishes elevate the space, including finished-in-place hardwood flooring, bespoke lighting fixtures, a horseshoe-shaped bar, an intimate chef’s counter, and a private dining room with patio access. The project also marks a Utah milestone as the first installation of PK30 doors in the state.
