Welcome to Fish Creek—a luxurious combination of stone walls, reclaimed wood, and modern accents built in the heart of Teton County. Surrounded by lush pine and stout spruce, the Fish Creek home feels like a rustic retreat upgraded with modern convenience.
Preserving Teton County
Fish Creek was built in Wilson, Wyoming—a short 25-minute drive from Grand Teton National Park. Teton County strongly believes in protecting the natural beauty in and around the Park, so teams worked delicately to preserve the abundance of surrounding vegetation.
As part of our GU!DE principles, our teams try to repurpose materials during construction. For the Fish Creek project, the board-formed foundation was constructed using reclaimed materials. Exterior finishes also included Montana fieldstone, reclaimed timber siding, and a galvanized metal roof. This home is LEED Certified with a Silver rating—adding it to the list of Wyoming’s larger sustainable homes.
Before construction on Fish Creek could begin, crews had to move an existing two-story log cabin 100 yards to a new location. The log cabin has since been transformed into the Guest Cabin.
Rocky Mountain Inspiration
Homeowners wanted Fish Creek to showcase their unique east coast heritage mixed with the rugged beauty of the Rocky Mountains. Several features combined natural elements such as wood-to-stone and stone-to-glass finishes. This process required careful coordination and extensive pre-planning with the contractor, the architect, and subcontractors. Cabinets and doors were inspired by traditional English craftmanship. The allure of Fish Creek is brought to life by the beauty of the surrounding elements.
