The Iconic Amangiri Resort in Utah Just Added New Villas—With a Private Spa, Chef, and 118-foot Pool
Amangiri’s new six-bedroom residence is the first of 12 planned homes.
During morning yoga on the pool deck, the instructor cued a warrior two pose, and I turned toward the house. Through a wall of glass, past the polished modern kitchen, the Utah desert opened up on the other side—a broad tableau of sandstone mesas and buttes rendered in shades of cream, pale gold, and rose in the early light. For a moment, indoors and outdoors felt like the same place.
It’s entirely by design. The new six-bedroom villa at Amangiri—the first completed home in a planned collection of 12 Aman-branded residences—was conceived to disappear into its surroundings. Set on nine acres within the resort’s roughly 900-acre sweep of southern Utah desert, the residence comes with a private spa with a sauna and a steam room, a dedicated gym, and a 118-foot pool. It’s a significant expansion for one of the most iconic luxury resorts in the American Southwest, and a long time coming.
