Hyatt announces plans for Andaz Heber Valley, the brand’s first mountain destination

Property will introduce a new expression of Alpine Hospitality in Utah.

CHICAGO — Hyatt Hotels Corporation today announced plans for Andaz Heber Valley, which will mark the debut of the first-ever mountain Andaz hotel and the brand’s entry into Utah’s Heber Valley, an area celebrated for its natural integrity, outdoor adventure and year-round appeal. Developed by Angstrom Development Group, this project will be situated within The Slope, a larger lifestyle mixed-use community masterplan.

Cradled between rugged peaks and green meadows, Andaz Heber Valley will introduce a refined approach to mountain hospitality, one that prioritizes design and wellbeing from a global perspective over familiar alpine clichés. The hotel will feature 85 guest rooms, alongside a collection of private residences comprised of 62 condominiums and 140 villas, that will have their own amenities along with special privileges at the hotel. The residences will be introduced separately for purchase at a future date.

“Heber Valley embodies the spirit of the American West in a perfectly understated way,” said Amar Lalvani, President and Creative Director of The Lifestyle Group, Hyatt. “In keeping with the Andaz brand the hotel will be firmly rooted in that spirit while bringing a global sensibility inspired by our travels to places like the Dolomites and Niseko which have very special traditions we have fallen for. We look forward to sharing the first alpine Andaz hotel with guests from around the world as well as the local community.”
