A Park City Dwelling Unites Modern and Rustic Elements

Perched on a hillside in Park City, this 7,500-square-foot residence brings together contemporary design and the character of traditional Western architecture. Designed by JLF Architects, the home pairs reclaimed corral board siding, substantial Montana moss rock, steel, and expansive glass to create a distinctive balance of rustic materials and modern forms.

Built by Big-D Signature, the residence features thoughtfully crafted details throughout, from its oversized weathered steel entry door and custom walnut cabinetry to expansive indoor-outdoor living spaces. A series of water features, including a waterfall inspired by historic mining sluices that flows beneath the dining room, further connects the home to its surroundings. The result is a carefully executed collaboration between architecture, construction, and landscape design.
