Designed by Marwan Al-Sayed of Masastudio, each of the 12 villas will have a unique design oriented toward the otherworldly landscape.
Less than a year after Aman opened its first standalone residential project in Tokyo, the hotel group is ready to unveil the design of a group of private homes at its beloved Amangiri resort—and Robb Report got an exclusive sneak peek.
Aman Residences, Amangiri, which encompasses 12 minimalistic residences set among 900 unspoiled acres of rugged beauty in the Utah desert, marks another chapter in the collaboration between Aman and the L.A.-based architecture and interior design firm Masastudio, which dates back to the creation of the Amangiri resort in 2009. Designed by Marwan Al-Sayed of Masastudio—one of the original architects behind Amangiri—the Canyon Country residences will embody the essence of Aman’s design philosophy, offering a modern yet organic presence in a remote part of the state. The homes will feature clean, modernist lines and be built into the very rockscape they sit upon. Materials like cement, stone, and wood will enhance the harmony between the natural surroundings and the built environment.
